Prof. Ami Ben-Amotz
|
Professor Ben-Amotz has a M.Sc. with distinction in Biochemistry from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel; and a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from The Weizmann Institute of Science, Rehovot, Israel; he has an award from The Lady Davis Fellowship Trust and was a Visiting Scientist at Scripps Institution of Oceanography, La Jolla, Cal. USA. He served as Senior Biologist and Head of the Marine Biology Department at the Israel Oceanographic & Limnological Research Institute. He is the Chief Scientist at Nikken Sohonsha Co., Gifu, Japan and at N.B.T. Ltd., Eilat, Israel.

Prof. Michael Friedlander
|
Professor Friedlander received his M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Plant Physiology at The Tel Aviv University. He completed his post doctoral studies at the University of South Florida, in Tampa, Florida; at the Kotochi University, Japan; at the Universidad Catolica de Chile, in Santiago, Chile; and at the Marine Bioscience Institute, in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Professor Friedlander was Head of the Marine Biology Department at the Israel Oceanographic and Limnological Research Institute, in Haifa, Israel. His area of expertise relates to macro-algae research. He is the recipient of numerous awards including an award for Porphyra cultivation given by the Israel Minister of Industry and Commerce.

Prof. Masahiro Notoya
|
Professor Notoya received his M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from the Graduate School of Fisheries, Hokkaido University, Japan. He was a Research Manager at the Fisheries Research Center of Aomori Prefecture, Japan. Dr. Notoya was also a Professor at the Laboratory of Applied Phycology, Tokyo University of Fisheries, and at the Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology. Professor Notoya has vast experience in applied Phycology and is recognized as one of the leading seaweed scientists in Japan, and he is currently the president of the Japanese Society of Applied Phycology.

Dr. Colin Barrow
|
Dr. Barrow received his Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the University of Canterbury, New Zealand, and his Master in Business Administrations from Pennsylvania State University.
He was Senior Researcher at Sterling Winthrop Inc.; Senior Lecturer at the University of Melbourne and he is currently Executive Vice President of R&D at Ocean Nutrition Canada Ltd. Dr. Barrow is member of the Canadian Natural Health Products Directorate (NHPD) Expert Advisory Committee; the International Society for the Study of Fatty Acids and Lipids (ISSFAL); a member of the Board of Directors of the Industrial Advisory Board, LSU Department of Food Science. Dr. Barrow has vast experience in research and development in the nutraceutical and food supplement industry.
